Hi there! Thanks for visiting my online portfolio.
I'm Daniel and mainly I divide my time in two areas which are my passion: Art Direction and being Art Professor at the Degree in Design and Production in Video Games at the University in Barcelona .
As an Art Director and responsible of a great team of talented artists I not only try to make visually compelling worlds and characters or draw the master lines of the visual style of the game.
Also my job is about distributing the work load among my team members, accomplishing deadlines and production dates, designing and optimizing new work flows to create better assets in less time and in conclusion... trying to unleash the explosive creativity that is contained inside almost any interdisciplinary art team!
And yes, it's also about being there for the team members, trying to listen, teach, share my knowledge, solve their problems and the most important, learn from them.
